Cosy diner with attentive staff given how small the diner is. It's QUIET here! And this is always a good thing for a casual meeting in a cozy stand over a light meal. Traditional Americana foods that meet the square and, of course, their pies are homemade and what they are best known. Large selection of Pies and a pretty good disc supplied. ? View all feedback.
This week reopened! we are on the way there now; will report later.Mid on a Friday afternoon; still busy in most restaurants still service. we ordered sandwiches and salads. the reuben was excellent for the price, as the cheeseburger. the young, who ordered the grilled cheese and the suppe, in which a smoked eater, wanted another. several salads, all fresh but standard dresses. several around us had ordered frying and meat leaf dinners; smokers all around.Being lent, we stayed clear of the cake; they will have to try again. they are in the display case and see luscious. that is a family space, not a good food. for the type the prices are appropriate. the service was very good. of course it is clean; still has this new smell and look at it.
We absolutely love coming to this place for breakfast or lunch. The food is amazing and the service is exceptional. The prices are reasonable, the food is top-notch, and the staff is fantastic. Nick took care of us this morning and he was excellent. Thank you for always providing delicious food! ????
The food is homemade and generous in portion size for the price. The staff is extremely friendly. I ordered the Hot Mess, while my husband had the fish dinner. We also tried the tater tot tacos. All of the dishes were cooked to perfection and were hot and delicious.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot for any meal of the day. They offer a variety of delicious options such as eggs Benedict, country fried steak, chicken tarts, a hearty Northern bean soup, and a selection of cakes. The space is large and welcoming, making for a great dining experience.
Al Smith's Place is a local breakfast spot in Toledo that has been serving the community for many years. They are known for their delicious dishes, and we were excited to try them out. I ordered the BLT Benedict (without the speck) and my brother got the pulled pork Benny, which came with pulled pork over carrots and sunny side up eggs, smothered in barbecue sauce and served with a biscuit. My brother absolutely loved his meal, especially the biscuits which were freshly baked and tasty. However, my experience was not as great. While the spinach and tomatoes on my benedict were good, the potatoes were underseasoned and made me feel ill shortly after eating them. The fries also lacked seasoning and flavor. It was a hit or miss for us. Before leaving, we tried the bread pudding which was fantastic. It was warm, decadent, and soaked in cinnamon syrup, filled with rich flavors and moisture. I would definitely return for dessert, but I would have to carefully reconsider my breakfast choice next time.
