So, so good! I didn’t think I would be able to get in, but the system for waiting is so simple. Show up right at opening and you will be given the time to come back…don’t be late! It’s worth the wait. Everything is so fresh and delicious! View all feedback.
What winnie h doesn't like about Onigiri Asakusa Yadoroku:
Came here because of Michelin Bib. Definitely not worth the wait and not sure what the hype is about. The rice and the seaweed weren’t anything special. Squid was wayyyyy too salty, while other onigiri we ordered were under-seasoned. Atmosphere is cute as it’s a tiny store with Japanese style minimalistic decor. Def won’t come back again View all feedback.

Come early. You’ll be waiting a while either way. But soooo worth it! You can tell the onigiri was made with love.
If yoy want to try delicate, flavorful onigiri in Tokyo, you must come here!
Fell in love with the food here on my first visit. Found this place on TikTok, both for it being a Michelin star restaurant and the oldest onigiri store. Was here on a weekday, at about 15 mins after opening (overestimated the distance from Sensō-ji temple , queued for about 1.5h. A rather small shop, but really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. Ordered a set consisting of 2 onigiris: 1 with salmon roe and another with squid innards (out of curiosity Thoroughly enjoyed the onigiris which were freshly made and hot. (Though the squid innards one was really salty
The best onigiri that we've ever had! My wife and I each ate two (and soup) and then took some more to go for a picnic later in the day. The shirasu and ikura were standouts, but everything was very tasty! The chef was also very friendly and made our first day in Japan a memorable one.
