The English menu has only a single set meal with possible variations (eg meat/vegetarian, more/less/no rice, brown/white rice), though the Japanese menu is larger. The set meal costs about Y1000, and is rice with sides cooked Japanese style, and miso soup (can opt for dashi-free broth). It tastes like good home-cooked food, and will fill you up happily without making you feel guilty View all feedback.
Healthy Japanese food restaurant with vegan options. All ingredients are cooked delicately to preserve nutrients. You will feel light and nourished. The place is very old, chairs are about to break (be careful seating). The owners are discreet polite people.
Best vegetarian around. Non-vegan options available as well. All-around winner.
Very good service. Economic and nice place to kill time. Specially if you sir next to the window on 2nd floor.
Cute café/bar with tasty, cheap food! Great if you want to have a meal by yourself. The owners seemed very friendly too.
This was our first really wonderful dining experience in Japan! The woman running the Cafe was very kind and had no problem explaining the menu to us. We each had several little vegan plates and everything was delicious. I would love to return the next time I'm in Japan!
