I had been wanting to visit this Bagel shop for some time, and I regret not going sooner. They make the most delicious bagels in Tokyo. Their dough is vegan-friendly, as it does not contain eggs, milk, or fat, except for a few cheese bagel options and a honey wheat variety. They offer two types of Bagels: New York style and Japanese style. The New York style bagels are traditional and loaded with toppings, while the Japanese style bagels are inspired by mochi and Japanese flavors. They also use the bagel dough to make bread. Their Bagel Sandwiches only have a vegan option, but they do offer a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. We tried flavors like garlic, everything, sesame, pumpkin, Nozawana, black sesame seeds, sweet potato, Matcha kinako, lemon azuki, and baked apple. Everything was delicious and we can't wait to go back for more. I hope that one day they change their policy to cater to happy cow diets so I can give them 5 stars.
I have never had amazing bagels outside of New York. Most bagel places don't get it right, often getting it very wrong. However, Kepo Bagels are the best bagels I have had in Japan by far. If the owner of Bagel and Bagel tried a Kepo bagel, they would be brought to tears and probably shut down all their locations. Kepo offers a variety of vegan options, with about 75 percent of their bagels being vegan. The prices range from 170 to 350 yen each. I highly recommend buying a bunch and storing them in your freezer. They are truly awesome!

I had been wanting to visit this bagel shop for a while, and after finally making it there, I regret not going sooner. They make the most delicious bagels in Tokyo. Their dough is vegan-friendly, as it does not contain eggs, dairy, or grease (with a few exceptions). They offer two varieties of bagels: New York style, with traditional flavors and loaded with toppings, and Japanese style, which are chewy and inspired by mochi and Japanese flavors. They also make bread using the bagel dough base. We tried a variety of flavors including garlic, everything, sesame, pumpkin, nozawana, black sesame seed sweet potato, matcha kinako, lemon azuki, baked apple, and pumpkin bread. Everything was delicious, and I can't wait to go back for more. I hope they get a higher rating in the future so I can give them 5 stars.
I have never had amazing bagels outside of New York, so most bagel places are a disappointment. However, Kepo Bagels in Japan surpass all other bagels I have tried. If Bagel and Bagel had a Kepo, they would be out of business in no time. Kepo offers a variety of vegan options, making up about 75% of their bagel selection. The prices range from 170-350 yen per bagel. I suggest buying a bunch and storing them in your freezer. They are truly fantastic!
