Itamae Sushi Edo - Tokyo

Delicious sushi place. Everything that we took was very good. Very friendly service. Very nice atmosphere. For sure i will come again on my next trip.

What a lovely lithe fern this place is... Nice ambient and a good atmosphere, service was ok, though a bit slow and inattentive at times but that may well be the lack of Japanese, they speak ok English but enough to advise you. Sushi and food was excellent and we were very happy with what we got, fairly expensive but you get what you pay for. Definitely would recommend this place of you want authentic and original sushi. Also English menu available

This is the best sushi I have ever had. When you go you must get the tuna nigiri. I never knew raw fish can melt in your mouth and be so rich. Also tried more complex sushi such as the spicy tuna and the California roll. The light mellow flavors of the California roll made me feel like my mouth was in a five star spa being massaged, and the wasabi with the salmon put me into a boxing ring. I would rate 6/5 stars but that is not an option. Beautiful food.

We had a very nice sushi. It tasted good and fresh. We first had the popular platter... later we had the tuna sashimi. The fatty tuna was tough.... unfortunately. The rest of the sushi was great soft and tender. The miso soup was not as expected. Portions were not that big for the price. Total of 2 beers and 2 platters was about 7500 yen

My husband and I were the first ones during their lunch time. We did not have any reservations but since we came once they opened and it was during lunch, we were able to be seated. I absolutely love the aesthetic of the restaurant and the staff were very welcoming. I think it was the hostess who helped us in our yukatas and it was really fun to dress up while eating a delicious meal. They do have some lunch specials such as the marinated tuna rice bowl pictured. Everything was very fresh and we didn't do as much damage as we thought as the total came out to under ¥7000.
