The coconut curry dish and Longboard Steak Sandwich are particularly recommended. Sit back, relax, and soak up the gorgeous view of Cox Bay while enjoying a meal at this gem along the coastal highway. The staff is personal and attentive, making the overall experience enjoyable. Whether it's for a late lunch, afternoon cocktails, or a light supper, The SandBar Bistro is a delightful addition to the Long Beach Resort with its warm atmosphere and fantastic food offerings.
The location is unbeatable unless it was pouring rain. The service is great and the menu selections satisfied all ten of our family members. My only reservations concerns their no pet policy which they comprised on for our party.
Poor service and embarrassing that they even served the coffee. the location is gorgeous, but the service area was a disorganized mess
A satisfying dinner on the patio after surfing. Only inconvenience was having to go back to my car to grab ID for our drink order. That's my fault though. I'm a young 30. Great food and ethically sourced. Yum!
A quirky little gem. The stop here was planned as we took a drive along the coastal highway. Surprised to find it so busy but learnt why.....the food was great. The sitting area is a gallery and gift shop.....right by my elbow examples of kitchy tourist purchases. The staff was pleasant and the overall experience enjoyable.
This restaurant has to have just about the nicest view in Tofino (check out my photo below) and the food is pretty terrific. Really enjoyed the Longboard Steak Sandwich with mushrooms and crisp shallots. It's only open from 2pm to sunset so is a great place to have a late lunch or afternoon cocktails. The service was a tad slow but very friendly but who's in a hurry when you are in such a gorgeous spot? Just relax and soak up that gorgeous view!
