This restaurant in Tobermory is one of the best options among the few available. We had both lunch and dinner here and enjoyed the nice terrace view while eating our food. View all feedback.

We made a special point of visiting here for dinner on our last night. I wanted a really nice piece of fish (Haddock or Halibut) and they happened to have the halibut on special Saturday & Sunday (we had went Saturday just for drinks). The beer flights were great and thoroughly enjoyed by my husband. He had the lamb burger and fries and enjoyed every bite. Unfortunately, the meal I came there for was extremely unimpressive. The special was described as a halibut in a white wine sauce with vegetables already mixed into the sauce (therefore it didnt come with fries, you had to pay extra for a side of fries if you wanted them) I paid extra for a side of fries. The meal total was about 39 bucks. The halibut came in basically was like a soup broth with random vegetables in said broth together with slices of lime...... it was bizarre. The broth was extremely salty and completely took away from the halibut which was cooked nicely. I ended up taking the halibut right out of the broth mess and placing it on my side of fries and eating it that way. I honestly cant imagine what the chef was thinking with that dish... my family is from Nova Scotia and putting an amazing piece of Halibut in basically a random vegetable soup is bizarre to say the least. I was very disappointed that my husband paid 40 bucks for my meal which was below average and 17 for his lamb burger which was great. It was a waste of money and unfortunately we will not be back for food again, drinks yes. I did want to note that our server was amazing, young girl with glasses (didn't catch her name) but she was wonderful.
Captain Tom with #diversden took us here for our first group meal three years ago. It is now a staple and we always take the group here! It's a pricey adventure but I promise you will not be disappointed! Great food and amazing home brewed beer! everything is good here since it's never frozen! That's right the chef told us they age their beef for 14 days after that it's ground up and turned into amazing prime rib burgers! This place rocks!
Good wine, good beer, and amazing food! Must visit. Food is so yummy along with their different beers.
Was disappointed that the dining room wasn't open because they were brewing, but when I sampled the beer, they can do that anytime. We had the Angry Logger and it was fantastic. We had to sit on the patio and the sun was burning us but we moved to a table in the shade, which was way better. We ordered a lamb burger with goat cheese and the prime rib burger with cheese and bacon. Both were delicious. I had the mixed green salad and I wish I had asked about the salad dressing because it was delicious. I think if we had been in the dining room we would have been more adventurous with the menu. So that means we have to go back when they are not brewing.
The beer was good and the service was as well. The menu is over priced for what you get. Wing steak for $48 with lots of cap and bone. Catch of the day had whole lemon and lime pieces left in for too long which made the dish taste bitter.
