A must visit place in Tobermory. If you're having a craving for some chocolate try their chocolate or raspberry chocolate pastries. My favorite is definitely the cherry vanilla pastry. The flavors just explode in your mouth and the pastry is done just right. Their egg sandwiches are perfect for a hot summer lunch. Visited 2 days in a row and both days got their chocolate donuts. They are small with filling and the ki... View all feedback.
What Sophie Gulgowski doesn't like about Little Tub Bakery:
Reviews were good, lots of people coming and going so we gave it a try, Just had a butter-tart okay nothing too special and both were burnt on top mine was a bit too black for my liking not too sure why you would serve...something like that. I think who ever was serving for the day was not having a great day not a very plesent person View all feedback.

We stopped in for some treats in our way back from a trip to Flower Pot down to Hope Bay. Saw this shop on our way into Tobermory and made sure we stopped in on the way home. Glad we didn't miss it. The bakery is small and filled with muffins breads tarts and pies. We grabbed an olive loaf and asked for two sandwiches (roast beef and chicken salad). They were made while we waited and you could customize them. They were great - thick whole wheat bread with a good portion of meat and lots of fresh toppings. While paying we stocked up with butter, raspberry, cherry and egg custard tarts. They had pizza slices there as well. Service was fast and friendly. We were out in five minutes even with making two sandwiches fresh. The place was very busy. It's near the V&S Stedmans on the west side of Hwy 6. Open 9-4 and it's cash only.
It was hard to grab a quick bite to eat in Tobermory as there were not that many places off the main road and whatever restaurants were there, seemed PACKED. We remembered passing the bakery just before entering Tobermory and decided to drive a bit back, since there was time to kill before a 5pm boat cruise. Our group enjoyed excellent pizza, hardy chicken salad sandwich, very delicious pulled pork sandwich and ohhh....the butter tarts with raisins...YUMMYLICIOUS! We peacefully enjoyed our food on nice picnic tables outside, in satisfaction that it was delicious, inexpensive and probably much better than the likely overpriced fried fast food near the super crowded Tobermory marina.
Best butter tarts in the world! This little bakery is amazing. You can find an assortment of bake goods from sweets to healthy breads. Coffee and sandwiches too. Lady at the counter was so nice and helpful. Wish I had bought more goodies.
Do not miss this on highway #6.It is easy to miss for it is tucked in a corner. We tried the cinnamon buns, tarts and beef pies all were excellent. We also had coffee there to go with our desserts!
