What Annie Crocket doesn't like about Bickleigh Mill:
Went here today after a lovely walk at the canal. The soup advertised was vegetable and corn chowder. The soup that arrived was a tiny bowl of thin broth with a few vegetables and a handful of frozen corn. 1 slice of bread and butter. £8.50. Not value for money, and definitely not a chowder. I won 't be back!! Chowder is a thick soup prepared with milk or cream, a roux, and seafood or vegetables. Oyster crackers or s... View all feedback.
A beautiful place to visit before they visit the autobahn to home or of course in any case. Beautiful scenic environment and a labyrinth of a load to go around, has just everything and everything for sale. a good selection of menu points as well as good prices, a super breakfast as you can see! very friendly server and some beautiful artworks for sale on the walls. all in all, a beautiful rest stop that is worth the time.
The restaurant had a charming and cozy atmosphere, with decorations crafted by local artists that were available for purchase. I ordered a vegan cream tea with soy milk, but was disappointed to find that there was no vegan clotted cream, only vegan butter. Additionally, I received two plain scones instead of the advertised one plain and one fruity. Although the staff did inform me about the lack of clotted cream upfront, the omission of the fruity scone was disappointing as the variety was one of the reasons I chose the cream tea. Despite the delicious scones, the overall experience fell short of a traditional cream tea.
This restaurant is ideal for social distancing with excellent coffee and pastries served under large sunshades. Make sure to dress warmly. The interior of the restaurant is also excellent, and if permitted, there is a large and luxurious gift shop.
My friend and I had a delightful roast turkey lunch at Bickleigh Mill today. Hannah and the rest of the staff were incredibly polite and helpful. We also enjoyed browsing the shop, where we always find great gifts and beautiful Christmas decorations. I make sure to pick up a couple of special decorations every year. Overall, it was another fantastic experience at Bickleigh Mill. Thank you! There is plenty of parking available, and the service, food, and atmosphere all receive top marks. Price per person for lunch is around £70-£80.
I had a fantastic experience at this shop. I bought an item that turned out to be faulty, but their response was quick and they resolved the issue promptly. The shop is filled with interesting finds spread out over three floors. It offers easy parking and is pet-friendly. The cafe was also delightful, with great coffee and cake options. They have a diverse menu with gluten-free and vegetarian choices. They provide high chairs for kids and have a clean baby changing area. Unfortunately, the shop is not very wheelchair accessible, but they do have a clean disabled toilet on site. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for a lovely lunch experience. The price per person ranges from £20 to £30. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect score of 5. There is plenty of free parking available on-site.
