Chris's Fish - Tiptree
Chris's Fish
Description
**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Experience**
This restaurant presents a confusing amalgamation of dining experiences. While some patrons sing praises of the fish and chips and outstanding staff, others lament undercooked meals and lackluster service. The food spans from enjoyable, well-prepared options to disappointing, soggy offerings. Pricing remains relatively affordable, but inconsistent quality casts a shadow over the overall appeal. Moreover, the atmosphere leaves much to be desired, often contributing to a less-than-pleasant takeaway experience. While there are commendable items on the menu, potential diners may want to approach with caution, as opinions vary widely.

I love a bit of savloy and chips Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
Expensive soggy fish and small chip portions. £11.50 for large cod which was more like medium but batter was really soggy and seemed undercooked. Medium chips were more like small, all for a whopping cost. They got two stars are staff were polite. I’ll go back to the chip shop down the road which was sadly closed tonight. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 4
