Dinner after 1 pm, before you can have tapas. Noone speaks a word in English, just rely on whatever they offer in Spanish : Home wine served in frozen carrafes. Delightful!

The communication was challenging in English, but with sufficient patience we received some sandwiches which were incredibly tasty.

We tried the fried calamari with fries, the garbanzas chick peas) and the meat balls and white rice ! All the plates were very tasty and you can tell were fresh! I recommend this Restaurant ! The waiter man was very nice ! I will come back to eat here when I visit Valverde again .

The cuisine is Canarian and Herreño. well worth trying. We visited last night for evening meal, I had Rancho Canario, a heavy soup containing potatoes, noodles, chickpeas and portions of rabbit meat, absolutely delicious!!, followed by Carne de Cabra, Goats Meat, tender and tasty, half a ration was more than enough. The Boss had fish soup, then Carne en Fiesta, fried spicy pork half ration, no complaints. Here the family own and run the premises, two brothers and their wives, they are friendly but their English is limited and the menu is not written. If you are hungry, want to try our local cuisine, I live here), enjoy the company of the sometimes noisy locals, then this is the place for you.

I have eaten here since 1995 and in all that time I do not think I have had a bad meal. Local cuisine, a family business that is always busy, good service from friendly people. Good food at the right price.
