I don't think that 5 stars is enough for this place! Their food is amazing and they have some awesome meal deals, it was a great size and the salad was fantastic. I got some oysters to eat as an entree and they are as...cheap as you could ever find them $10 for a dozen!!! The service was top notch while we were waiting one of the owners popped out and brought us some watermelon which my son loved. It is hard to find... View all feedback.
What Erminio Bianco doesn't like about Marine World Seafood Cafe:
$10.90 for “large” chips bought for my family of 5 enough only for the 3 kids very poor serving size would have got 4x the amount at my local fish and chips which is where we went straight after. Disappointed.
Came here for the first time in years, and quite bitterly disappointedWent to order a large piece of cod, steamed, no oil.
I had the special of the day that comprised of battered bream and chips. It was very goodThe fish was fresh and chips were cooked to a perfection.
Yummyyyyyy!! We have just moved into the area and was craving fish n chips! Sometimes it's a hit n miss but when we turned up to the cafe last night it was
Whilst you always get the best of fish and chips to take away, to sit down and enjoy a great meal is very nice experience.
Yesterday my coeliac friend and I had lunch at Marine World Seafood Cafe but we were very disappointed - annoyed even. My friend ordered and paid extra for a gluten free seafood basket. When she received it it contained a seafood stick. We know these are not gf so she spoke to the staff. She was first told it was gf and then a couple of minutes later the girl came to say, although it was in a gf batter, the stick itself was not gf. This indicates that the kitchen staff have no idea about REAL coeliac disease. The stick, cooked with the other food, would have caused cross contamination to all the food it was cooked with and placed on top of as well as the oil it was cooked in. Even a crumb of gluten will make a coeliac ill - as it did. The whole meal should have been replaced after being cooked in fresh oil! We didn't even bother to ask as their lack of knowledge was obvious. If Marine World read this, please educate your kitchen staff about coeliac disease possibly via a course supplied by Coeliac Australia.
