We nearly didn’t go in here because the reviews were hit and miss but we are glad we did. We shared a mixed salad and I had grilled squid, he had mixed grilled fish of the day. Served with canary island wrinkled potatoes and a bit of salad and of course bread and mojo sauces. Very tasty, well cooked and a good price compared to the ridiculously expensive tapas place down the road. Nice and clean inside, and they have a child friendly menu if you need it. Not on the seafront so no view to speak of unless you like watching cars go by or are not bothered by the view (we aren’t). Staff were friendly and attentive. The menu was multilingual so you can get by if you cannot speak the language.
I strongly recommend this restaurant. We just visited it today during our trip to see the North of the island. It has a very agreeable terrace. Service was in the correct pace and all staff was very friendly. It seemed to us very clean and tidy. Meals were tasty and good. They have a variety of typical Spanish dishes. But not the typical Spanish food that they offer on tourist places. The Real Typical Spanish food. If you are visiting Lanzarote and plan a trip to the north, I strongly recommend you to plan a lunch stop in this restaurant. It will just made your day better.
Good place to try range of traditional tapas and still have a kids menu. Very friendly staff. Prices are reasonable too
As a local with plenty of experience in Canarian cuisine, I can say this place is truly authentic — no tourist versions, just real traditional food. Definitely try a few tapas, especially the Papas arrugadas with mojo. Tip: inland order meat, on the coast always go for seafood.
