Feedback
**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Culinary Experience** This restaurant offers a homey atmosphere with warm decor reminiscent of cherished family meals. Many patrons have enjoyed its delicious breakfast and lunch options, praising the friendly service and reasonable prices. However, some dinners, particularly on special occasions like Valentine's Day, have left guests disappointed. Concerns included poorly cooked dishes, such as greasy chicken and overcooked steak, along with inconsistent service. While the ambiance and value may attract families and those seeking casual dining, guests are advised to approach dinner reservations with caution, as experiences can be noticeably hit or miss.
I reserved dinner for my wife and I on Valentine's Day, hoping for a romantic ambiente. for the first time and hoped for something cutting and unforgettable. dress code was called “smart casual”, but I would say more “come as you are”. the restaurant was cold and darker. I look forward to a home cooked meal experience, as reviews show that everyone praised the taste, etc. no great selection of options on the menu. my meal was greasy and overhauled fried chicken, and the steak portion of my wife was burned on the outside, but she made it through the part. my kartoffels were cool and the gravy tasty as if it came from a dose or a glass. I don't ask for a lot, but grew up to expect more. if they want someone to be the best experience possible, aim at a level and deliver more. I didn't experience that. I will not come back for a second attempt to feel that the employees are trying to win me, in an effort, on an experience that would not be better. it's the first impression that counts, and I should have known that it wouldn't go well if they didn't have the invitation I made on opentable. you will find another restaurant for something important or unforgettable.
We were looking for a place where we can go to the weekend weekend to quebec. eating was very good, tasty and cheap. the only part was that my hamburger bungalow got soggy very quickly. other than that, we enjoyed our holding place here and would definitely come back if in the opposite. the place had a home cooking feel over it and the decor inside is warm with stonework and beams.
We visited our child at college and came here on Easter Sunday. Since we aren't from the area, we were looking for a restaurant with good online reviews, and this place did not disappoint. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. If we return to the area, we will definitely come back here.
I ordered the roasted chicken, which was greasy and overcooked, while my wife's steak was burnt on the outside, although she managed to salvage some of it. My potatoes were lukewarm, and the gravy tasted like it came from a can. I don’t have high demands, but I’ve always expected more from dining experiences. If you want to provide your guests with an exceptional experience, aim higher and deliver accordingly. Sadly, that was not the case here. I don’t plan to return, as I left feeling that the staff wasn’t genuinely invested in making our evening special. First impressions matter, and I should have recognized that this wouldn’t go well since they didn’t even use “Opentable” for reservations. If you’re looking for something special or unforgettable, I recommend choosing another restaurant.
We were looking for a place to dinner on the way to Quebec for the commemorative day weekend. The food was very good, delicious and cheap. The only drawback was that my Hamburger beung got soggy very quickly. Other than that, we enjoyed our stop here and would definitely come back when in the area. The place had a home cook feel over it and the decor inside is warm with stonework and beams.
