Was Shayna Boyce at Bj's Bakery a mag?
Ernie, who usually greets customers at the entrance and checks receipts, is one of the kindest individuals I've ever encountered. He always takes the time to ask my children and me how we're doing, and he has a warm smile that brightens our day. A true gentleman! I also appreciate the bakery selection — it’s fantastic. What Bobby M dislikes about Bj's Bakery:
Thieves and scumbags abound at this Tilton location. I was loading a large item onto a cart and set my iPhone down on the display. I got on the road and realized so I turned around and went back to the spot I left it but it was gone. Called the phone and went right to voice mail so I knew some scumbag thief had turned it off so I couldn't track them. Think twice before using this BJ's, but if you do be on alert. BJ's... We've been loyal customers for years, but it was Ernie's exceptional service that inspired me to write this review.
On a previous visit I had clipped a dozen or so online coupons as the item's shelf tag stated to do to get a discounted price. That in itself is not easy to do scrolling through 100+ items on my iPhone to find the items. Not paying attention until I got home, I noticed on the receipt that none of the on-line coupons were applied. But I let it go....that time! Today I go to the store and as I'm going around, the item's shelf tag tells me to do the same thing...clip the on-line coupon to get the discounted price. So I scroll through 212 items to find the several items that have coupons and clip away. At the checkout the same thing happens, no coupon credits. After going around with the cashier who's trying to figure out why it's not working, she and I go to the service desk. The clerk at the service desk informs us you can click the coupons in the store, but it takes some time for the coupons to hit your BJ's membership. She stated it can take15-20 minutes. Thinking we just wasted 30 minutes, the cashier and I go back to the register, she voids the entire order and re-enters it. But again no coupons. Not only is this false advertising, but ripe for a class action law suit! The service desk clerk expressed her frustration with a promo they have going right now where if you buy 4 specific items in the store, you get 75 cents per gallon off outside. She said nowhere is it say on the promo that it is not immediate or give a time-frame. Glad I did not fall for that one! I received an email yesterday telling me my membership is up for renewal in 30 days. Needless to say i will no longer be playing BJ's silly coupon game. Costco is a little further drive, but at least i know i am getting a good price without having to clip coupons that don't work.
The staff are friendly and very helpful. I often use their grocery pickup service, and it’s always fast and accurate.
The management at this restaurant is poorly organized, and staff members seem to be either invisible or lacking in support. I witnessed a so-called trainer trying to teach a new cashier but failing to help when the barcode on an expensive meat item was unreadable; he didn't know how to handle the situation. Furthermore, I was directed to the customer service desk to get a new, updated membership card—though I was never given a reason for needing it. There were two women behind the counter who appeared to be assisting others, but no management was visible. They didn't acknowledge my presence and worked at a remarkably slow pace. Frustrated, I ultimately left without spending over $300 on items I had planned to buy. It's unfortunate that there isn't a Costco nearby.
One of the employees (presumably the manager) of the tire shop is an arrogant mask N Dropped off the car earlier and another employee (not wearing a mask) was polite and did his job, told us the car would be ready in an hour. Came back to pick it up and the mask N told me to leave the store or put a mask on, he said, if WE have to wear one, so do you . I told him I don 't work here, I can do as I please. He said, this is a private business , (as if he owned the place) and you need to get outside or put a mask on. BTW, I was at least 20 ' away from him the entire time, all he had to do was ring up the sale and we would have left. Took this this employee more time to play power hungry mask N then it would to ring up the sale. Never buying tires or anything else from this company, been a customer for close to 20 years, spent 10 's of thousands of dollars there, I expect better customer service. I complained to BJ 'S on line and have not received a response.
