That is in the past One night we chose the 3xc... read more Used to visit for Sunday lunch from SE London, once brought along a restaurant critic as it was once exceptional. That is in the past One night we chose the 3xc menu – it was appalling – tasteless chicken and fish, rancid tasting oil in bread, reheated boiled potatoes and cauliflower. Bland, defrosting, badly presented deserts. Second night a la Carte for my 70th celebration dinner we walked out: the actual beef was a superb cut and superbly cooked however, the red wine jus was over salted and inedible, the vegetables again overcooked or reheated and charged at E27; the lamb, although flavoursome was streaked with gristle – again at E30 – overpriced and a very expensive mistake, ruining my birthday. We abandoned the ordered cheeseboard as palates were shot!!! Nobody (staff were inexperienced) asked how was the meal and the manager was on the phone as we left. We did not darken the door of the restaurant for breakfast either morning after reports from other guests – but were erroneously charge E64 on the bill – but this was quickly remedied. We are now worried that all other Najeti Hotels, which we have been very fond of, are heading this way. This is the first time we have had such poor quality.
