What Billy Lambeth doesn't like about The Donkey:
I was disappointed to find that the roast potatoes were all cooked in goose fat and the Yorkshire puddings were overcooked at this restaurant. However, I must say that the service was excellent and the atmosphere of this lovely little traditional pub was great. The price per person ranged from £10 to £20. I would rate the food a 3, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5. View all feedback.

read moreNestled in a picturesque setting, this charming traditional pub has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. While some diners noted inconsistencies with dishes like roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings, the overall consensus highlights the restaurant’s exceptional service and inviting atmosphere. Rated highly for both the quality of food and attentive staff, patrons rave about the generous portions, particularly the Mixed Sunday Roast and delightful desserts, including a must-try banoffee pie. With reasonable prices ranging from £10 to £40 and ample parking, this welcoming spot promises a memorable dining experience for all.
Large English pub-type atmosphere from an American perspective. all we had was very good. helen and lee, the owners are as far as possible on earth.
I came here with my friend and his mother's dinner. it is a pub in (which felt me) in the middle of the nowhere surrey landscape. that's it.
