The food is amazing, Tacos were exquisite and very good size. Many types of salsas and variety of drinks. The service was very nice and always there if you need anything.

As I have said in previous reviews, living in TJ was a pleasure for its gastronomy. Famous worldwide for its food, that goes far beyond the well know street goodies, tacos and coronas, the new and young food scene in TJ is great. This tacos for instance, offer very unusual options, even for a mexican! from portobello, to octopues and mixes in between. This is a very inspired, committed effort by its creators. Add to that the creativity in the salsas they craft and you have a unique experience, highly recommended. Also, not cheap, but well worth it, this is a place not to eat a million tacos, but a few well selected and enjoyable new type of tacos.

Another example of the amazing food scene happening in baja. Kokopelli is a small restaurant located in the central Zona Rio area. rhe first taco the Malacostra taco is a yellow chile stuffed with Marlin with melted cheese, and a Chipotle cream sauce. Polvera taco, a smoked salmon, chile rajas and a mango granada sauce. Absoulutly amazingRasta Shrimp taco with chimichuri sauce and with pimentos and black olives. If you want upscale gourmet tacos this is the place. It needs to be on your list of places to try!!!! Enjoy!!!

Great little restaurant, friendly, nice atmosphere and the food was fantastic! Oh- and they have Baja Brewing Company beer - including Razz - my new favorite beer. They even parked our cars for us. It's not hard to find using Google Maps. We started with the Black Harder - a halibut taco in squid ink - looked a little bit daunting in that ink but when we tasted it - wow - super delicious. Everyone ordered something different and we shared, ending up with one of the Experimental tacos topped with Chapulines (crispy fried crickets) - loved the crunch. Not one dud - can't wait to go back to try some more. PS- super reasonable
