Was here for lunch to complete the Tip to Tip Tour. I had the lobster roll and my Mom had some hot sandwich that had mushrooms on it (can't remember what it's called now). Our waitress was friendly and we enjoyed our food. We shared an ice cream crepe that the kitchen put on two plates so we could each have a different sauce, which we were both impressed with. The view was very nice, but it was an overcast and windy... View all feedback.
What Տաւրոս Կարապետյան doesn't like about Wind &Reef Seafood Restaurant:
We arrived later than we thought, so we stayed for lunch as there were no other options without backtracking to TIGNISH. I just had a salad and hubby had some fish which was good. My salad was large but mostly light green leaf lettuce. View was amazing. Area is lovely. Service was good! View all feedback.
When we arrived, we ordered a dozen of oysters to start. Well not only were they delicious but the homemade cocktail sauce was truly the best we have ever had. In fact we asked for another sauce because we were fighting for it. Well we decided to share the seafood platter and boy was it well worth your money. We had lobster, excellent scallops, 2 lb. of mussel, fried shrimp, fish and all was made perfect. We both loved the view and wanted to wait for the sunset but because we were staying at the opposite end, we wanted to make sure we weren't driving too late, but boy as we were driving what a sunset, one of the nicest ones - they say Hawaii was awesome sunsets - no way, PEI had some awesome ones and here at the wind and reef we got to experience just that. The server Debbie was very pleasant and was very efficient.
View of both sides of the island, the food is very good, lots of great meals, service is excellent, beach walking right there, black marsh walk and wind test site,

One of the top stops in your West Prince tour, whether for lunch or fine dining. Features great scenery and food, with the added attraction of being practically situated in the middle of a large windmill farm. Restaurant features a well-equipped gift-shop mini-museum and excellent food and service. The lobster feast is hard to beat for quality, quantity and price. My only complaint is the frozen veggies! Time to go.
I dined at the Wind & Reef 2 years ago when I visited PEI, and I was impressed with the great food. This year, I visited PEI with a large number of family, and I was eager to go back to the Wind & Reef with these family members. For some reason, we were not nearly as impressed with the food this time.I, unfortunately, convinced another diner to go with the Seafood Medley, instead of the Seafood Platter, as I was going to do, since the Medley was $10 cheaper, and the missing items from the Platter were items I did not want to eat anyway. However, when we each received our orders, it turned out that the whole meal was deep-fried....Not our intention at all. We both wanted fresh seafood, just not quite so much as was represented in the "Platter". I am still regretting that decision, as it was the other family member's last night in PEI, and she did not get to have her fresh seafood dinner!!Neither of the other adults in our party were "wowed" by their meals either....For the price we paid, we were all a little disappointed.
