The place is run by 2 first ra... read more If you're in Tignes or Val D'Isere for a week's skiing and not visiting Box Bar at least twice, then you're doing it all wrong... The place is run by 2 first rate lads who've built a cosy cafe/bar/restaurant with a sensational menu (brunch, lunch and dinner! and good selection of beers. If you time it right, you might even catch a spot of Premier League footy. If you head over in the evening (dinner menu starting from 4pm be sure to try the fried chicken and chips, easily meal of the trip for our group of 7 hungry skiers!

Beer is good, with local French/uk a... read more Been in here a few times over my past few visits to tignes. Small place. Very friendly vibe by the owners and the regulars. Beer is good, with local French/uk ale offerings not found elsewhere. Food is fantastic, basic bar food, done very very well. Ventured in on an event night unexpectedly and stb did this place rock late night!!! Never would have thought it given the normally relaxed social vibe... these guys know how to put on a party too!! Can’t wait for my next visit!
