I had the baked fish. I enjoyed it. the strangest thing about this meal was that my man was served and had finished his meal long before my came to the table. the prices were much lower here than similar restaurants. our meal with drinks was under $300 pesos. all in all we had a pleasant time.

We had the papadzules (tortillas filled with hard boiled eggs) as an appetizer. Then cochinita pibil (pork in a flavorful marinade) and pollo a la yucateca for our main...courses. The restaurant is open air with a great view of Ticul and the jungle. We were the only tourists surrounded by locals. The service was lovely, even though our Spanish is quite limited and the staff did not speak English. The restaurant overlooks Ticul from the south (not the north as other reviewers have suggested). As of January 2016, the Tripadvisor map is in accurate. This is located off Calle 42 to the south of Ticul (you'll see signs as you exit the town limits).
