This riverside building had been empty for several years, and I'm so glad it has finally transformed into a thriving restaurant. The pleasant dining atmosphere allows for easy conversation, and the friendly waitstaff, along with delicious and inventive dishes, make it a perfect choice for a night out.
I would go a long way out of my way for the mussels in cream sauce and garlic. Had spare ribs on polenta which was fabulous comfort food on a late fall evening. It is a comfortable, unpretentious place with a sort of hub bub like a French bistro. The menu is not large but is varied and the food reflects an attention to detail.
The atmosphere was lovely, and the restaurant has implemented strong anti-COVID measures. I had a delicious meal, starting with mussels in a creamy white wine sauce, followed by ceviche on a crispy pastry, and halibut accompanied by fresh greens and sauce. While it was a bit on the pricey side, the excellent cuisine and friendly service made it well worth it.
We love the atmosphere and ambiance of this historic building! The food and service are very good! I'm from the South and could not believe that they (a yankee!!!! could do fried chicken so well! And the pork belly is the best I have ever had......GO.....you won't be disappointed! sonja leonard leonard
