At first, it wasn’t clear from the bar that there was a restaurant upstairs, but once we found the hidden entrance, we felt like we’d stepped into another world. The atmosphere was delightful, the service friendly and attentive, and the food truly outstanding. With one of us being vegetarian, we appreciated the chef’s creativity and were thoroughly satisfied. We highly recommend visiting Arch when in Thurles!

For eating we had different items from the menu: TOASTED SANDWICHES FROM THE DELI, CRISPY CHICKEN GOUGONS, BBQ CHICKEN WINGS and SALAD.. For drinks, we had a BOTTLE OF SAUVIGNON BLANC between the 4 of us. Every one of us thoroughly enjoyed the food and drink. The service was super and we were very impressed with The Arch Bar and it’s wonderful real Irish pub atmosphere.

The food and drinks are excellent, and the service is fantastic. Normally, we get to chat with the elderly gentleman who owns the place, but he was not there this time. He must have been taking an afternoon nap, as he mentioned he does sometimes. He is such a gentleman. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back again.
