Description

Despite mixed reviews, the charming atmosphere at Thyme creates a cozy dining experience. The food quality varies, with some dishes like the quiche receiving both praise and criticism. Service can be slow, but the unique menu offerings and delicious desserts make it worth the wait. The restaurant relocated, but the food remains consistently good. The Eggs Benedict are a standout, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Although lacking in clarity and consistency in some areas, this hidden gem in the north side promises a delightful dining experience that keeps customers coming back. Open for breakfast and lunch, Thyme offers a unique culinary experience worth exploring.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, thanks to our server who was cheerful, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The ambiance was lively, eclectic, and cozy. For lunch, we tried the in-house smoked game and cheese crepes recommended by our server. I also sampled the watermelon and feta salad, which was fantastic. The coffee was fresh and served in large cups. All the food was locally sourced and made to order. The prices were reasonable for such a gourmet meal. We even had the opportunity to purchase farm-fresh eggs from a local farmer who delivered them to the restaurant. Our server went above and beyond to sell us a flat of eggs when the farmer didn't have any extras. Overall, it was a delightful experience and we will definitely be returning to try more dishes from their menu. Thank you for a fantastic meal!

From the moment we arrived at Thyme we felt welcomed. Our server was friendly and very accommodating. The decor is fresh, and relaxing. Our meal was preceded by a very tasty (and complimentary! “amuse bouche”, followed by an appetizer of a hot cheese/spinach dip with home made crisps. The presentation was lovely. Our entrees were all excellent Duck a l’Orange, Dijon Herbed Chicken, Salmon en Croute and Beef Tenderloin they arrived hot and in a very reasonable amount of time. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem!!

Thyme is now a perogies for your main course. We had perogies, Caesar salad , chicken wings and beers. No one complained and no one walked out hungry. I believe the kitchen is ran by others . It is not gluten free /dairy free
