The Pasta Shoppe - Thunder Bay

Three of us went there for lunch for the first time. The shop is clean and bright and the staff are friendly. We went specifically for the gnocchi as it's a favourite but we were disappointed. The cost was $15 for one serving; although it was a good size it was a bit expensive. But we really didn't love the gnocchi. They were heavy and small and didn't have a pleasing taste. I would go back to try other pasta choices but I wouldn't recommend the gnocchi unfortunately.

I'm very picky about what kind of foods I feed my children. I love ordering dinner at The Pasta Shoppe, as I know we are eating wholesome homemade food.

Ordered the Mushroom Ragu, and the Sketti Bolognese on Tagliatelle noodles, it was delish. The noodles, meatballs, and sauces are homemade daily and unlike any other I've tried. Portions were generous, staff was very friendly and helpful. This little take out pasta shop is worth trying out. It is locally Owned and Operated by three women. Its a hidden gem that must be tried. You can call ahead to place your order, or just walk in, they prepare the food right in front of you, they even offer city wide delivery. Looking forward to trying all that is on their menu.

Visited The Pasta Shoppe a few times now. Great new start up by local ladies. Can't get much fresher than having your pasta hand cranked for your order while you wait. Very tasty. Meatballs aren't bad either. Try a tiramisu if they have them.

Husband and I ordered take out meatballs and sauce...The pasta was over cooked and very soggy, I'm not one to write reviews or complain but it was that bad,,,, needless to say I had to cook supper as pasta went in the garbage,The owner did message me through facebook and wanted to talk to me direct gave her my number and never heard from her,, Not good with her customers either big disappointment, I always try to eat local and support small businesses but not this one,,,,
