The Simplyfine is my favorite go to find hard and excellent Swiss craft beer. But not only do they have a good selection for hop heads, but more delicious treats for gourmet lovers. You can either go and grab Stuf on the go, but also buy their goods in the beautiful atmosphere in and outside to enjoy. the owners and the whole team are happy to help you put together specialties from their range to suit yourself or for great gift ideas for your loved ones. come back again and again!
While on another journey of exploration we happened upon this establishment. I had read an article about this business and because of that we wandered through the shop. We then realised that there was also outside seating and it was such a wonderful day that we stopped and had a beer, ginger beer and coffee so that we could luxuriate in the sun. Wonderful square too. The ginger beer (non alcoholic) was superb. This is a company that has been set up to show case all local products.
We stayed here on a rainy day visiting the city, and we had two coffees and an almond croissant. The place is really cute, has a beautiful terrace overlooking the main square and has a wide range of dishes and drinks. But the prices were steep, twice the ones from my city (Lugano) and the waitress gave me the wrong change that made a bitter taste in my mouth. She was very nice after that, and maybe it was just a mistake. In any case, it is a perfect option in the city for a fast coffee.
Friendly service, took the time to talk to us about their products and even let us taste some before buying. I would buy wine, spirits, beer, charcuterie, chocolate and cheese from here every week if I lived nearby. Cannot recommend this enough! All Swiss products, quality selection.
It was a rainy day on our first visit to Thun, and we were looking for a place for lunch. We were a bit leery of going to a place with an English name, but went in and were floored. There was a wonderful array of local meats, cheeses, wines, and beers. The menu was a challenge for my limited language skills, so they asked if I 'd just like them to make me a sandwich the only question was whether I was a plain ham and cheese kind of guy or wanted something more adventurous. I chose the latter, and in a few minutes was served a work of art. Everything, from the thin, chili crusted dried beef to the chewy sourdough bread, was exquisite. If our stay had been longer I would have been happy coming here every day.
