What Edgardo Jaskolski likes about Freds:
Fred's is in the middle of nowhere and was recommended by friends. We have been there twice now and had great steaks, pizza and sandwiches both times. Owner is super friendly and we love the quirky old west atmosphere! You can wonder around and look at the animals too, longhorn steer, horses, etc. There is a really neat stagecoach in the bar that Fred built himself. My snowbird friends learned of this place and brought me out for pizza and a bucket of beers. This place is divey, kitschy and full of history as it's been around since the mid seventies. Seems to have had a rodeo past and there's stage coaches, covered wagons and a grill right in the center of the room that serves as the chuckwagon I guess.
