We kicked things off with a selection of cocktails: Blueberry Thyme Buck, The Anniversary, Married Down, and Cherry Old Fashioned. All the cocktails are crafted using their housemade distilled spirits, which are also available for purchase on-site. Their whiskeys are particularly acclaimed, and most cocktail options feature that spirit, but there's truly something for everyone on the menu. Our group ordered a mix of Detroit-style pizza and sandwiches, and the portions were generous, leaving us with plenty of leftovers to take home. I was particularly excited to try a pizza with vegan cheese, as it's not widely available. However, after ordering, our server informed us that they were out of dairy-free cheese. Instead, I opted for the burger, and they kindly prepared a vegan comeback sauce for me as a substitute for the pizza. It was such a thoughtful gesture for them to accommodate my request. The restaurant is just one aspect of what Journeyman has to offer. Visitors can also take a distillery tour, make use of the event spaces upstairs, or enjoy a mini golf course in the back. We love visiting here annually, and it never fails to impress!

The house special drink was amazing and perfect for the weather, brunch was fantastic and the perfect size. Staff were incredibly helpful, added bonus was the easy wheelchair access, would again!

We are visiting from Chicago and this was recommended and w... read more This was our first visit to the Staymaker, which is the restaurant within the Journeyman Distillery. We are visiting from Chicago and this was recommended and we were not disappointed! Everything was really excellent! From our charming and attentive server Hailey, to the amazing smoked trout spread app to the Trout entree and the brisket meatloaf. It was all so delicious! We will be back!

Burgers are good, the chicken better, and the meatloaf and Nashville Hot Tofu sandwich made for a great vegetarian option. We will return!Vegetarian options: Offer Cauliflower Steaks and a Nashville Hot Tofu sandwich that don't compromise!
