Sayner Pub - Three Lakes
Sayner Pub
Description
At Sayner Pub, diners have shared a spectrum of experiences, from delightful to disappointing. While some rave about the excellent pizza and attentive service under the new ownership, others lament a decline in quality and service, with overcooked burgers and pizzas that could be better. The ambiance, bolstered by a beer garden and live music, remains a highlight. Staff attitudes vary, with some patrons praising friendly service, while others note less-than-stellar interactions. All in all, this Northwoods gem continues to attract loyal visitors, even amidst fluctuating quality and experiences.

This is a great little bar and restaurant. It has a bunch of tables and a great bar to sit at. I love the hand painted map of the area on the ceiling above the bar. They need to label Firefly lake though! They have a decent amount of tap beers. I likedthe Pub Ale a lot. Service was fast and friendly. I had fun talking to other customers at the bar. This is also a great place towatch Badger and Packer games. Get there early if you want a seat at the bar.
I have celiac disease and had seen a previous review about having gluten free pizza crust so thought we could give it a try while in the area for a family vacation. Nothing on the menu indicated that gluten free anything was offered, so I asked when Iordered. The waitress told me that they don 't take any measures to protect it and that there was flour everywhere . I opted fora salad instead and specifically mentioned my allergy again when asking for no croutons. An hour later when the food arrived, the waitress plopped down my plate and quickly walked away when I realized there was a bread stick on it. When I yelled to gether attention she came back, laughed, and said oh I didn 't even think about the bread stick , while laughing. I couldn 't tellif I felt nauseous after eating because of the food or from the pure rage I was feeling. I always give people the benefit of thedoubt, especially when they show even minimal interest or understanding in my food needs. I felt belittled, humiliated, andcompletely devastated by this experience. If I could give negative stars I would, don 't even bother stepping foot in the door.In today 's world, food allergies are everywhere, you would think when your job is literally in the food industry, you 'dunderstand. I understand not every place can make accommodations work, but just giving your patrons the time of day and respect,it goes a long way. Super disappointed and feeling very disrespected.
Certainly has gone south since two years ago. Tacos aren?t anything special today almost half of what they were and now more expensive. I?ll pay more for the same great tacos they once were but we won?t be back. Bartender wasn?t very pleasant must?ve been having a bad day on a ?slow? when we walked in Tuesday. There are much better places within 30 miles wouldn?trecommend this place like we once bragged about it sad!
Owners were super nice. Ribs and chicken and steak sandwich were excellent. Wait stuff was fun and friendly. Great beer choices on tap other then the normal light beers. One of my favorite bars for sure.
My family and I stay in St Germain every year. We've traveled to Eagle River and Minocqua before but never Sayner. I said it's only 7 miles away let's check out this town. What a lovely town. We decided to try Sayner Pub and boy are we glad we did. Pizzais really good and that's coming from a Chicagoan. So glad we found this gem.
