The owner does go above and beyond, but the meat was noticeably not fresh. I had the Wet Burrito (Mojado) with carne asada, it was good paired with a Jamaica. I pray this business continues to do well. ?? View all feedback.
What max rev doesn't like about Ruperto's Kitchen:
I cannot believe this guy just ripped me off. The price for a taco online is $2.75.Priced $2.95 in the store. He charged me $3.75 each and when asked why, He said inflation!!!! View all feedback.
The 4.6 rating we saw before going is way too high. Our expectations for authentic Mexican food were unrealistic based on the rating. The meat was old, like it had been in a warming tray all day. The ratio of meat to rice was mostly rice. The tortilla was a gummy mess. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the food had a lot to be desired. If it had been awesome food, the prices would have been reasonable. As is, the prices were too high. Won't go back..
I couldnt place an order online they said no more online orders for that day, i dont know why. It was only 5pm and they closed at 9pm. So i drove there and placed my order and had to wait for 25 minutes.
Homemade tortillas and Pozzole on a cloudy Saturday Hit THE SPOT!!Nice people, delicious Comida!Going back for sure!
I paid $10 for a burrito that seemed more like a child's portion. I also ordered tacos that were supposed to come with everything, but they didn't include cilantro or onion—just meat and tortilla. There was no salsa either; you have to order a big cup of it separately. The meat quality was subpar. The horchata was good, but honestly, this is the worst Mexican restaurant I've ever visited. If you're looking for decent service, you might consider eating here, but the quality is still likely to disappoint. I gave them two chances after my first letdown, but the second visit was just as bad. I'm truly disappointed.
It's honestly a hit or miss. The nachos come with just cheese and steak chips, lacking any veggies. Guacamole is an extra charge, and the steak burrito is quite dry. The burrito contains dry steak, onion, cilantro, beans, and is mostly filled with rice—about 80%.
