Rita's Italian Ice - Thousand Oaks

I'm excited to see a Lancaster, Pennsylvania favorite has opened a location nearby! Oh, it's actually located in a gas station - Google Maps can be misleading.

I wouldn't recommend adding apple pie as a topping. When they mix it all together, it tastes like you're eating applesauce. LOL.

Super delicious ice cream and shave ice! We tried the Gelati combo and it was just divine! Highly recommend. It's inside a chevron which through us off a bit! But they have there own spot toward the back and looked clean. The staff was also super friendly!

What a cute little spot in! I was looking all over for the Italian ice store, not realizing it 's in the Chevron. The only comparable I know of at the moment is Leone 's Italian Ice in Thousand Oaks. That one has more flavor options and variety, but for what it is, I love it! The worker Geeta was so kind and was happy to provide samples. It gets a 4 because of location and Italian ice selections--flavors could have been more classic rather than originals like sweetish fish . With limited space and options, I 'd rather have normal flavors.
