Lucky's Dog House - Thousand Oaks

Wonderful people and delicious food! I especially loved the crispy pommes and good old fashion hot dog!

The restaurant has moved locations a few times, from High Street in Moorpark to the current location next to what used to be Hughes Market, then towards the college. Despite the changes in location, the quality of the food has remained consistent. Even though we moved away from Ventura County a long time ago, this restaurant will always be a favorite when we are in the city. The best part is that the same two young individuals who have always been there to run the business are still there, just like 20 years ago. Thank you for consistently providing great food over the years.

This restaurant is a local favorite. I have been coming here since I was a child, and now that I am in high school, I still make a point to come as often as possible. The friendly owners always engage in conversation and make the waiting time enjoyable. I give this restaurant a perfect 10/10 for its classic American cuisine.
