Extremely loud (wear earplugs). Food was good, open table reservation was speedy but wait staff were overwhelmed. Took a bit longer for food than normal but we weren’t in a hurry. View all feedback.
What Jovanny Dickens doesn't like about Dave Buster's Thousand Oaks:
birthday dinner. had to demand several times, appetizers were good, but the escapes were not almost as good. decent games, some vr, but several broken games. I don't make tickets/prices, so I don't know how good a system they have, but the prices looked good. most of the games were very new, but all games are only good for about 2 minutes, which corresponds to about $60/person/hr. they need to buy the rechargeable ca... I recently took my family to Dave & Buster's for the first time, and even though we didn’t eat there, we had a fantastic time playing arcade games. The overall experience was outstanding. Loading credits onto our card was simple, making it easy to get to the games. They have a great variety of games that cater to all age groups. I highly recommend Dave & Buster's for a fun-filled day out.
I always visit this restaurant on Wednesdays with my autistic brother. Merlin recognizes that my brother is unique and interacts with him in a kind manner. Each time we come, he is incredibly nice and helpful. The games are enjoyable, and the food is really good whenever we eat there. The staff is friendly as well. I absolutely love coming here and would even consider working here myself!
Fun place, clean, good food, lots of games. Kids paradise, big kids too? LOL .P.S. Cost per person really depends if you play games. Food prices weren't too bad, with games it adds up!Kid-friendliness: Lots of games!
Fun place, clean, good food, games galore! Our waitperson did a great job, she was friendly, helpful. Killer Giant Bavarian Pretzel? (w/cheese (yummm), try it! Also, loved the Philly Cheese Steak! I updated this review since I was tired left a short version after our visit.?Wheelchair accessibility: It seemed to me to have plenty of room throughout the business for a wheelchair bound patron to navigate.
Brought the family on Saturday night. We had an excellent time. We had a reservation at 6:30. Service was friendly, the food was not bad at all for a venue like this. If you have dietary restrictions I would recommend you plan ahead. However, they do offer an impossible burger and gluten free bun if you’re into that. It’s very loud in there between the music played over the speakers throughout and the games themselves, but again, that’s the venue. So bring ear plugs or something of the like if you’re sensitive to that. We ate, we played and the time flew. We’ll definitely be returning!
