California Fish Grill - Thousand Oaks

Awesome. Literally Delicious meal for 13.99. Full disclosure they did mess up my order. Which turned out to be genius, I ordered fish and chips, but received GRILLED BARRAMUNDI. It was amazing. Easily could have passed off as a much more expensive dish. I will 200% be back.

First time here and I, we were thoroughly impressed. The fish and shrimp were fresh, cooked to perfection and very tasty. I ordered the beans on the side and mixed them with my brown rice. We both upgraded to the Brussel Sprouts side, worth the extra $1.99!! Delicious. Service was quick, the restaurant was well cared for and the employees were patient and very helpful. We ordered an extra shrimp skewer, upgraded our sides and our total bill, with a tip, was under $50. Excellent value! A new restaurant we are adding to our list of top favorites!! Rivals the Lure, but a more affordable, casual setting.

I had visited this chain in Irvine a while back and really enjoyed it, so I was excited to see it finally open in T.O. My dad and I tried the fried hot honey rockfish special, and it was delicious. The fries and sides were tasty as well, although I would have preferred regular coleslaw instead of kaleslaw. Overall, it's a fantastic new option for fish lovers. Just a heads up—the portions are enormous, which isn't necessarily a bad thing!

This is one of my favorite spots! I used to frequently visit the Fox Hills location in LA, and I was thrilled when this place opened. The Swai Cajun fish tacos on flour tortillas are a must-try. The staff was friendly and patient, and the restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated. I’ll definitely be coming back! Plus, the prices were fantastic!

I had the catfish with garlic butter sauce, accompanied by zucchini and white rice. It was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was quick. I’ll definitely be returning.
