Grimaldi's Pizza Wings & Subs - Thorold

The only reason I gave this place a 1 rating is because trip advisor wouldn't allow me to put 0. I stopped in for a quick slice, no one was at the counter and I waited a solid 5 minutes before the owner surfaced from the back. I asked for two slices of pizza and garlic dip. With a price of $1.25 a slice I imagined they would be decent size. He opened the pizza 'warmer' and grabbed two slices with his HANDS, I still can't believe I was hungry enough to eat it. He put the slices in the bag and I paid him his $3.80 and left. I went to eat my slices but they were cold and way smaller than I would have imagined (see picture) I ended up driving home to heat them up. The pizza was gross, thank goodness I got a garlic dip to give it some flavour. Needless to say, I miss the old HD pizza.

Nothing special but I really enjoyed the pizza. A good size pizza for a reasonable price. A good place for a affordable dinner for students.

Called to say that mild wings were hot and they said that was how they came. Tastes like they use franks in their mild sauce.Now I have to make another meal for my child since she couldn't eat the 20 wings I paid $30 for after delivery.You would think they would tell people the mild wings were still hot.

Not a fan of there pizza but other seem to love it. we usually order there steak subs and they are really good to notch.

I would not recommend this pizza place. I have ordered from them 3 times. They are a 5 minute drive from their delivery point. I order them for work. This includes constant orders for birthday parties, office parties, and other events my company hosts on our property.The first time the lady was 90 minutes late because she could not find my address. The second time they were almost 2 hours. I asked for a discount and the delivery driver balked. I asked her to return the pizza, only then did she offer me a small discount. The last time it was raining and the delivery driver had the nerve to ask me to come to the road side because he was wearing sandals and did not want to get his feet wet on my stone driveway. I went to the driver barefoot. It was not my problem the driver was ill prepared to do his job. Needless to say I am grateful another pizza company now serves my area. My company orders a dozen or more pizzas a month and no longer use their service. I don't like posting negative reviews, however this place needs to significantly improve its delivery service and customer service.
