We then were looking at the board to see what they had. The cashier said we needed to move out of the way so other people could get by. But there was no one trying to get by. She was very rude. We left without ordering and we went to the Pickle Barrel where we were welcomed... View all feedback. What Lloyd Dibbert likes about Fry Basket Fish & Chips:
Got the one piece and chips, last week, and it was enough. Ok value but not great. Fish was great, fries were good, coleslaw was ok but the packaged tartar sauce was disappointing. Good greasy spoon if you feel like going old skool diner. View all feedback.

read moreLocated on Yonge Street, this long-standing restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, with a standout being their delicious Fish and Chips. While the portions are generous, prices may be on the higher side. The restaurant itself may not have the best ambiance, but the friendly staff and quick service make up for it. Overall, this spot is a great option for those craving a greasy spoon breakfast or classic diner fare. With a loyal following for their weekend breakfast and tasty fish and chips, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit, with some reviewers even planning to make it a regular stop for their meals.
