Chibap is located next to Hoki Poke which a... read more Japanese Sashimi and Korean Fried Chicken is a top wonder pair and for it to be offered as a combo is game changing. Chibap is located next to Hoki Poke which allows them to easily collaborate. I tried their Po+Chi Box meal which consisted of Crispy Fried Chicken, YangNyeom Fried Chicken, Deep Fried Mandu and Poke (with your choice of protein). I got this as an UberEats Delivery and it travelled great. Chicken was still crispy even though one was sauced. The meal box comes with 3 pieces of Deep Fried Mandu from Chibap Mandu is a general term for Korean dumplings that consist of a savory filling wrapped in thin wrappers. It was really well made fried to perfection with a delicious filling mixture of meat and vegetables moist and juicy and has a good texture. The Mandu also came with a drizzle of sauce on top! Regularly, Chibap's half size Crispy Fried is $16.95 and half size Yang Nyeom is $17.95 which is more pricey than some other places. Portion wise, together, they almost meet 1 half size (there were about 4 boneless chicken nuggets per flavor). The bite size chicken was made of white meat and remained very crispy. I enjoyed the sweet and savory flavor and appreciated the variety instead of just giving one flavor of chicken. Unfortunately, it no longer comes with pickled radish as previously pictured which could have helped cut through the heaviness of fried chicken. The Poke is provided by Hoki Poke and the protein I chose was Salmon (required $1 upcharge). It came with a spring mix salad, edamame, cucumber, purple cabbage, nori, and deep fried onion chips placed on a small bed of sauced purple rice. In terms of ratio, there was more salad than rice than protein. The box also isn't that deep so it was a thin layer of rice, salad and protein. The salmon was not cut evenly and some pieces tasted less fresh than others. Combination was alright and decent. Overall, it was good but not a place I would particularly choose to go out of my way for. If I do return, it would be for the chicken or if the curated box's price has a special price.
