It is... read more I've been to this place several times over the last year and tried a number of items on their menu including pizza, nachos, panzerotti and chicken wings. It is only one of two places in Thorndale and the only one that offers takeout. Every time I have been I have been very disappointed in the food. This place has such potential since the other place in town is terrible and excessively overpriced. Sassy's really needs to get serious about their food and make it restaurant quality.

Good thing I did, seems the whole town knows this place has great food! It's not a sit down place, seems like some work was being done in the building, no restrooms for clients either. Regardless if I am by that way again I will stop, didn't get any desserts, I should have since everything else was yummy!

There... read more I ordered a 12-inch Meatball Sub with cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce. We were in a hurry so it was a quick meal. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. There were only two pieces of tomato on the entire sub, they forgot the cheese, and the lettuce was sparse. The bread was stale and dry, and the meatball sauce was only on one end, making the sub very dry. The meatballs were average but also dry. Overall, the restaurant needs to improve their food quality, staff, and presentation. I hate to leave a negative review, but I have to be honest. I also noticed that the food handlers were not wearing gloves, which is concerning. It seems like the owner doesn't enforce hygiene rules.
