Contribute Feedback168 on Oxford offers a unique dining experience with food service carried out by robots, however, some customers were disappointed with the limited interaction with the robots. The quality of food received mixed reviews, with some praising the fast service, presentation, and variety of food available, while others had complaints about the freshness and quality of certain dishes. The restaurant offers a large variety of Chinese and Japanese food, making it a great spot for feasting, but be cautious of the portion sizes and discrepancies between menu item photos and actual servings. Overall, 168 on Oxford provides an interesting dining experience that may be worth a try for those seeking a novel meal service experience.
Wow, what good food and what good service, amazing waitresses who give great service, I really liked being here and highly recommend you to come!
168 is an amazing all you can eat restaurant. They offer a large variety of foods and drinks. I like that everything can be ordered easily from the tablets and a robot brings the food. It's a very smooth process. The food comes quickly and is always delicious.
Food never disappoints and typically neither does the service but the last time we were there we had 6 people and the service was not great. I know it was a holiday but at the same time severs should have sections and be checking in on their guesses periodically. Love the owner though always on the floor and so nice to talk to!
First of all, great food. Perfect sushi place. Atmosphere could use more light sun or at least give you, the customer, that option. Now for service.. we sat down to see broken plates (chipped at the edges) and asked for plates that aren 't chipped (no one wants glass in their sushi). The waiter spoke to who looked like a manager then came back and brought clean plates. Cool. Good way to earn a good tip. Then, we order about 40 to 50 items between 3 people (and we eat them all one by one, no problem, we aren 't being unhealthy either) and the waiter, when she seeing that we had left ONE item, says we 'd get an extra charge for leftovers . Seemed like she took advantage of the first opportunity to get more money out of us (we paid the dinner price, near $48+ per person, so eating that much food was MORE than justified).I said no, out of near 47 items (I remember), we left ONE because it is too oily. (Greasy deep fried sushi came in like 8 piece and we didn 't want that many). She said ok. She goes back to said manager , and I see this waiter whisper, to the manager, then witness them both giggle and look at our table, quite easily with an arrogant look. At this point... I knew we were actually being targeted, for eating too much, at an all you can eat buffet.Disgusting.. we paid 48 plus tax each and left with no tip given. Why? Because how in the world do you serve people like this? And I forgot to mention our iPad stopped sending orders. And the waiter had to put her login and password to literally send OUR order from OUR table
Went because of all the reviews about cat robot. The cat robot was awesome. However, it came only 3 times. Then we watch it go to another section over and over again anc all other orders were brought by humans to us, and I wasn't happy about it. I wanted a full robot experience, not dealing with servers and their bs. Food was not even mediocre, and this experience cost us $115 for 2 people. It would be a cool experience if all was delivered by the robot, but since it's not, we won't be returning to this place.
