Miso Hot - Thornbury

Visited for their lunch menu. Very friendly staff, considerate to the needs of a toddler. We really enjoyed the sushi and tempura - such light batter. Wasn't as keen on the rest of the main course as I felt the stir fried meat and vegetables could have packed more of a punch. Reasonable lunch deal. Would return again.

This place rocks. Wonderful miso soup and excellent sushi. Friendly service and good prices. The decor is nice too. The sushi bar is nice to sit at if your eating by yourself at lunch.

Hanging around for 3 days, been here for 2 times, as my kids just love udon here! both serve with soup and fried one! I myself love the rolls and sushi here, amazed with their freshness. tasted good! friendly service, Best restaurant in Thornbury!

My bestie and I wrapped up our Blue Mountain's spa getaway with a fabulous late lunch at Miso Hot. The name was cute and caught our attention but the trip advisor reviews nailed it as a worthwhile stop. We are so glad to have experienced this delightful restaurant. The server was charming, attentive and knowledgeable, making great suggestions and keeping us laughing throughout our visit. We enjoyed the namesake Miso soup, a huge serving of the scrumptious sesame seaweed salad, an order of the tempura veggies (yams, onion & broccoli), the $18 rolls platter (see pic) and an extra order of spicy salmon rolls. We were stuffed to the gills but managed to finish every bite. Everything was so fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. The texture of each dish was the absolute best we have ever had anywhere. The total meal before tip came in at just under $45. We felt we got a great value and will definitely be back. Please give this review a helpful vote :)
