It is a relatively newer entrant into the cafe game at calicut and they do have all the ingredients to succeed. The ambience of the place is great and the cafe provides arrangements for small surprise parties,get togethers and can be used for small meetings and stuff as well. The minimalistic decors used with some photos of legendary Leonardo DiCaprio have a certain sophistication to it. The dicaprio special pizza was really exquisite with a thin crest and great amount of toppings. The fish and chips were really best of the lot we had. Crusty and fried on the outside and perfectly soft and cooked on the inside. The pasta dish was creamy and tasteful. The portions were all very generous and that was refreshing to see. Coffee had a zing to it. It was a good experience and we intend to return!

There are both... read more Amazing food and great ambience. Cafe Dicaprio is a premium-range cafe situated near The Gateway Hotel and almost 700 metres from Calicut Beach. There are both vegetarian and meat options. On a weekend, there wasn't much of a crowd when we arrived at the cafe at 12 o'clock. There are enough seats to accommodate around 20 people. Since they opened just an hour before, a few items, like juices, were not available. We had penne pasta, chicken fingers, and shakes. The taste was really good. There is enough space for small parties. I could see a few decoration items when I visited. Also, friendly staff are there. If you can avoid the fact that the food is a little bit costly, then this cafe is a great choice. Highly recommended. Note: Dedicated parking space is less (maximum 2 cars can be parked), but there is enough space besides the road.
