The serving is abundant with big chunks mixed with thin pieces. The meat is the kind of tenderness that comes from slow open pit Bar-b-que over many hours. If I get a chance to go back, I'll see if they can put it on sandwich bread. The bun takes away from the taste. The coleslaw was delicious. I typically don't like coleslaw from restaurants. I really only like homemade. So, this is a unique endorsement. Sorry. no pictures. I ate it too quickly.

U... read more Review by a local from Thomson: Neal's BBQ is quite good. The BBQ is definitely the highlight of the meal, although it tends to be a bit greasy for my liking. Unfortunately, the hash has declined over the past 15 years. While it tastes okay, it's generally too watery and just doesn't have the right flavor to stand out. On the bright side, they serve excellent sweet tea, and the red velvet cake is quite tasty as well.
