Well, despite what some reviews said, I ate here a couple of lunchtimes while in Aegiali and the food was excellent. The owner main waiter is a little quirky and does come across as a little miserable, but he was certainly efficient in taking orders and delivering them, but I can see why he might have annoyed other customers. One of his mates ? regular customers obviously didn't know I understood a fair amount of Greek and was a bit disparaging about some of the tourists, but the owner didn't really take him on. The view is brilliant and I'd go again, which is the best way of measuring a taverna.
Great view but it takes ages to place an order (even if the terrace is only 25% occupied) and the staff doesn’t seem very interested in helping guests either. Staff behaviour was unprofessional in multiple ways. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
Worst food we’ve had in Amorgos: out of 10, moussaka 6, salty sardines 5, wine 4, beet roots 3. Great view but it is not worth it. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €15–20 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
Expensive food for what they offer, poor service, and poor quality! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–25
Food below average for its price and the personal rudeness of the waiter who served us. The POS was not working, as a result they demanded that we go find cash and came back to tell us at the end that we took out the Panagia from them (in an account of 7 people). I do not recommend the shop under any circumstances whether you carry cash or not. PS we ordered seafood risotto and the following dish arrived Service: Dine in
