The batter fried prawns were just coated in batte... read more I ordered delivery from Magic Wok Oman through Talabat and was extremely disappointed with the tasteless food. The batter fried prawns were just coated in batter and the dynamite shrimps tasted awful and had a bad smell, which made my daughter feel sick. We paid 16 rials for the meal and ended up throwing it away. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

It was a lovely Chinese meal to end our mini-break. We were staying at Woodland Lakes and had to drive to collect the food, but it was definitely worth it.

Unfortunately, I ended up getting food poisoning after eating the food. I will not be coming back to this restaurant.

The food smelled delicious as we passed. We had a Thai green curry. It tasted ok but the sauce was very watery. My noodles were dry with no sauce or flavour. The menu said they were saucy unless asked for dry!! I ‘did not’ ask for dry!! I was very disappointed to be honest!

I was informed... read more Collected my order and got it home only to find an error had been made with the curry we ordered. This particular dish came with a chips option. I was informed that they would change it if I returned. I reminded them that unfortunately the chips would now be cold, and asked for a fresh portion to be included. I got a rather surly reply that there was nothing wrong with the chips and they would not be replaced. On my return I was offered some prawn crackers which I refused. I had to stand my ground and insist that the full meal was replaced. Eventually someone in authority declared that they would do the decent thing. By this time I was getting the cold shoulder treatment, no apology and the replaced meal plonked on the counter without a word. It left us feeling that we will never return and will discourage any friends not to use this establishment and try one of the other two in Thirsk square.Very poor customer service .
