The Cheel
Description
Nestled in the heart of the Midwest, The Cheel is celebrated for its creative fusion of Nepalese and Himalayan cuisine, crafted by the passionate Chef Barkha. Diners rave about its vibrant atmosphere, exceptional service, and an array of flavorful dishes like the Nepali Thali and duck-filled samosas. The open bar area enhances the welcoming vibe, and live jazz on Saturdays adds to its allure. As the restaurant rebuilds after an unfortunate setback, the community eagerly anticipates its return, hoping for the same magic and dedication that made The Cheel a cherished dining destination.

This bustling, lively spot downtown has a vibrant atmosphere that feels like an upscale hippie retreat, and we really enjoyed our time there. The food was fantastic, and we even ran into some acquaintances. We would definitely love to come back. The menu is unique, so don't expect the usual bar or tavern fare. The dishes here stand out in a positive way.
On Saturday nights, the outdoor patio features live music. They offer local beers on tap, unique cocktails, and delicious food. It's a great spot to enjoy in Thiensville!
I visited this restaurant with a few friends who are regulars here. Even though the new building is under construction, there’s a spacious patio behind it that’s great for dining. They have an impressive selection of beers, especially a variety of IPAs to choose from. I enjoyed some wings and French fries, and both were delicious and of good quality. I commend the owner for their ability to keep things running smoothly despite the setback. I’ll definitely be back soon, especially since they have live music too!
Love this place. Always bumpin'. Food is amazing as would be expected from the owners of the Cheel. They get great talent to play so music is always good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
