Stopped by on our way through the state. The guy behind the bar was so friendly and the place so nice we dang near stopped for the night. Next time Thermop. Next time. View all feedback.
What Philip B doesn't like about Mac's:
Great biker bar, if your a biker. Rough local dive with super cheap beer, free popcorn, darts and pool tables and drive through liquor store. It no doubt has its place in town and can get really busy. Didn't eat here and would be scared too. View all feedback.
I had good time this past Saturday even though I was only customer for awhile. Beers were cold and a good selection. Bartender on duty Ashley was super nice and was good company for the couple hours I was there. I'll be back next time I'm in Thermopolis
I occasionally visit Mack's Bar in Thermopolis, Wyoming, and I've always enjoyed the staff there. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the food is really good. There’s no indication that it has ever been a gay bar; it has a biker vibe and is definitely a friendly place for good guys. I encourage anyone traveling through to stop by and see for themselves. Unfortunately, I missed them being open on my recent trip. As for those who might label it as a gay bar, here in Wyoming, we believe in letting people be who they are and not judging a place based on misconceptions. They might not be open due to COVID, but I hope everyone is doing well and that they’ll reopen soon!
We stopped by while traveling through the state and were pleasantly surprised. The bartender was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere of the place was delightful. We almost decided to stay for the night! We'll definitely make a point to visit Thermopolis again next time.
The restaurant was closed on Monday night, even though there were locals dining inside.
This is a fantastic biker bar if you’re a fan of motorcycles. It has a gritty, local vibe with very affordable beers, complimentary popcorn, and options for darts and pool tables. There's even a drive-thru liquor store nearby. It definitely holds its own in the town and can get quite crowded. I didn’t eat here, and honestly, I would be hesitant to do so.
