The hostess at the front was very welcoming and professional, but unfortunately, the quality of the food didn't meet expectations. One starter had to be sent back because it was inedible, while the other wasn't much better. The chef should realize that placing cooked food on salad can cause the salad to become wilted, which isn't very appealing. The main courses seemed to be made from supermarket-quality ingredients... Absolutely brilliant, great food, good ale selection and a really lovely atmosphere. Make sure you book ahead if you want food.
All these excellent reviews says it all. Not much to add all has been said. Food 100% Range of beer, wine and spirits 100% The Landlords knowledge of traditional beers is exceptional Traditional family run establishment. Friendliness and welcome 1000% Menu prices very competitive and drink prices are probably the cheapest in the area. Very well kept beer, larger and ciders. If you haven't been you should visit you won't be disappointed. I know you will return. Keep up the good work the Theberton Lion Team. I will return. Dennis P
