We celebrated our 90th birthday party at this restaurant today. The room was gorgeous and the buffet was fantastic. We really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it as a venue. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Theale Golf Club:
The staff at the restaurant were rude, and the golf course was poorly maintained with unkempt greens, tea boxes, and fairways. The greens were riddled with holes, moss, and weeds. The price of £37.00 for a Saturday morning round was excessive. Overall, the experience was highly overpriced and did not meet expectations, especially compared to Billingbear and Wentworth. Played yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyable and, thankfully, not many people on the course. I’m a golf novice and find it an ideal place to get to grips with the game without lots of “experts” watching! There’s also quite a variety of interesting wildlife to see as you go round. I’ll certainly be returning.
Played today in lovely weather, tees, fairways and greens were spot on, lovely friendly staff and nice food, if this was in wales I'd be taking up membership
