Salata - The Woodlands

They literally served me rotten shrimp. I will NOT be going back. When I got my takeout and opened it at home, I was eating my salad and then I realized that I had about 2 pieces of ROTTEN SHRIMP. I didn’t even realize it at first, it was absolutely disgusting. This made me not want to ever consume another piece of shrimp ever again in my life.

A pick your own salad fixin's salad bar. Lots of selections, three types of lettuce choices. Various meats, chicken, etc for an upcharge. Several salad dressing choices. Everything was fresh and tasty. A great place for a great salad at a reasonable price!Vegetarian options: It's a salad place, of course they have vegetarian choices.Dietary restrictions: For one selection they asked about any dietary restrictions. So they are aware.

I travel Houston a lot for work and have eaten at several Salata locations. One thing I can say is they are consistent across their stores on taste and quality. I came in at lunch on a Sunday. The order line had my salad knocked out quickly. I got baby spinach, herb chicken, jalapenos, black olives, cucumbers, feta cheese, tomatoes and the herb vinaigrette dressing. Everything was fresh looking and tasting. Their fresh jalapenos are legit! The dining area was clean and I enjoyed my visit.

Everyone was so sweet and patient, Maria was very professional and nice!
