I had a terrible experience at this restaurant! I feel really sorry for them. We decided to have our Christmas dinner there during our honeymoon and everything, except for the wine, was absolutely terrible.
This restaurant has been fantastic over the years. We decided to visit again tonight because the restaurant is closing down on October 31, 2012.
Kables is gone. After 25 highly successful years, the Four Seasons has closed this wonderful restaurant. Regulars to Kables, like me, appreciate great, honest food, served in a relaxed environment. Kables has been replaced by the new restaurant in the lobby, which hardly even comes close to providing the same level of food or service. Shame. Big mistake Four Seasons, big mistake.
The food and drink options are diverse, and the staff are attentive to their customers' needs. The music creates a pleasant atmosphere, perfect for relaxing.
Recently had dinner at Kables restaurant with my daughter. We were staying at the Four Seasons for the Hight Tea (which was excellent). I don't know if it was because it was the last weekend before they do a refurbishment or was just an off night but was not impressed. The oysters were great but the steak was average - my partner cooks a better one! The staff weren't that interested but then again as I said it could have been because they were winding down. Wouldn't go back in a hurry.
